Epic battle between a base model Chevy Sonic, VW Passat TDI wagen, and my Buick has concluded (I think).
Video coming later when I get it all in one place, but here are the fastest times.
Sonic (driven by mom): 66.719
Passat (driven by dad): 62.09
Sonic (driven by me): 60.689
LeSabre (driven by me): 61.575
Stats on the car are:
Sonic:
Weight = Light
Suspension = damn good
Power = 130hp (?)
Tires: 95% tread
Passat:
Weight = 3,580 lbs
Suspension = damn good
Power = 150hp (ish)
Tires: 90% tread touring tires
Buick:
Weight = 3,567 lbs
Suspension = LOL
Power = God knows. 185 at the wheels?
Tires: left side = 40% tread touring Toyos, right side = brand new Walmart $50 special and used $25 tire that has a slow leak
Had a hard time getting used to the oversteer that my car now has thanks to the stiffened rear suspension, and I threw rubber all over the place thanks to my lack of ABS/traction control.

I just got home from the autocross! My JSW TDI ran a 62.574 best! How many did you run total?

Three runs in the LeSabre, and one in the Sonic.
LeSabre times were 65.974, 61.805, 61.575
I pussied out the first run. Wasn't used to how much power the car has now.

Hmm, my first (EVER) run was a 69.545, second was a 66.077, third was a 64.247, and my best was the fourth with a 62.574 (2 seconds off the 2010 Mini Cooper S) which isn't bad for taking it (somewhat) easy on the car :)

The problem was the last straight because second gear ran out at 40 but I didn't have time to shift to third and get the boost back on...
